PALM ISLAND ALCOHOL RESTRICTIONS

Alcohol restrictions apply in the Palm Island Aboriginal Shire. It is not permitted to disembark the barge carrying in excess of the permitted amount of alcohol which is 1 x carton of midstrength or light beer per ticketed passenger and a total of 1 x carton of midstrength or light beer per vehicle listed on a connote regardless of how many people are travelling with the vehicle. No other type of alcohol is allowed in the Palm Island Shire. Please note that all beer must be in cans not glass stubbies.
